Hi all,

As at least some of you've heard me mention a couple of times, I joined Rosemary Aubert's workshop (and, by extension, our group) in order to put myself in the midst of active writers. I want your accomplishments, struggles and ideas to encourage me to commit to my own writing beyond mere ideas or treatments. So far, it's working - slowly. Your offerings are serious and of a professional calibre which I find inspiring and a bit intimidating. I'm still shaping the basic ideas of the piece I'd like to work on - about a young man who, rejecting the expectations of the world into which he was born, commits a terrible act of savagery and escapes into an exploration of that world which changes him.
